Well, Colorado continues to be a tough one this year for storms. Chased a couple of times this month. Updated blog etc. on my web site www.nocowx.com Undecided about chasing the next few days...

Decided not to chase today even though it may be the last opportunity for a while. Spending several hundred dollars on a QLCS setup makes no sense when I can see these in my own backyard. :)

Forgot to update my chase plans earlier. I did chase today. Played the northeast target thinking landspouts off the foothills. No such luck. Blog is posted at www.nocowx.com. :)

It is mid-May and looks like a "see text" week of chasing ahead. Although some of these days have yielded great rewards, I think this week may not be as great as some would like (wish) it to be.

Decided not to chase tomorrow. My instincts tell me the good storms will be few and far between. Driving 800+ miles to chase HP messes does not make sense to me. Good luck to those that do though :)

Finally getting a little garden shower with some lightning this evening. Snow levels down to 7000' overnight. This is May and we should have had some severe wx by now (sigh).

Beginning of May and storms are lacking. The dreaded Omega Block appears to be setting up so not looking promising for severe weather in the near future. I will remain optimistic though :)

Monthly update - lol! Anyway, unlike last year at this time, storms have been lacking in my predominant chase area. Got some cool cloud pictures but not much else. :)

a little rain over night. Warm weather by mid-week before cooling down by the end of the week. Same old weather for a while.

What a difference a day makes! That closed low opened up and dove south. Will probably only see a few flakes out of this failed storm. No chase planned on this one (sigh). A horribly dry winter...
