Privacy

We at Chaser Update care about the privacy and safety of each and every one of our members. We have created an Official Privacy Policy which can be found at the Privacy link on the bottom of any Chaser Update page. Please review the Official Privacy Policy for more information on your privacy on Chaser Update and how we use member information.

Member Content

All content posted on Chaser Update is owned by the member posting the content. Members are responsible for their own content. Chaser Update cannot be held liable or responsible for the content of other members. The following terms also apply to member content:

1. All content that is your own copyright and trademark protected content that is posted by you on Chaser Update signifies that you are giving Chaser Update the right to show that content on the social network.
2. When you delete your own content, it will be deleted from public viewing. However, the content may still be in-tact on a backup which the public cannot access. We reserve the right to store non-public content that has been deleted by members.
3. When you grant access to an application, the application may use your content and member information. You must be able to manually grant access to any third-part application so that you know when your content is being shared.
4. When you post content on Chaser Update (including status updates, photos, profile information, etc.), it may be shared with everyone including those who are not on Chaser Update. To control who sees your content, click Account at the top right hand portion of any page on Chaser Update and go to Privacy Settings to adjust how your information can be seen.
5. We encourage you to be active on your profile and post as much as you want to. There is no limit of how much content you may post.

Member Safety

Please be sure to read and abide by the following terms below as they specifically address safety and security on Chaser Update. Please note that we have a full time security staff team which monitors Chaser Update for violations as well as responds to violation reports.

1. You will not spam Chaser Update. Spam includes advertising commercial websites that are not related to a topic or weather-related. If you join to spam, you will be detected and you will be banned for life. We will also report your username, IP Address and email address to many different anti-spam databases including StopForumSpam.com and Project Honeypot.
2. You will not collect member contact and other information for advertising. Using any sort of automated information collection script or tool is strictly prohibited.
3. You will not engage in any form of illegal activity on Chaser Update. We reserve the right to report you to law enforcement agencies and share your information if you are engaging in illegal activities on Chaser Update.
4. You will not upload, transmit or link to anything that could harm another person’s computer or disrupt their enjoyment on Chaser Update. This includes viruses, click-jacking, Trojans and other malicious content.
5. You are allowed one account and one account only. You may not use another person’s account. You may not share or copy personal information of another person on Chaser Update.
6. Abuse is strictly prohibited. Abuse includes harassment, stalking, intimidation, bullying, threats of any kind, harm a minor, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, violence, posting violent content, extreme profanity, racism, constant negativity, bigotry and encouraging others to violate our rules and policies.
7. Pornography, adult-rated content/media and sexual content/media is strictly prohibited from Chaser Update. Violating this term will result in a lifetime ban from our network.
8. You will not use Chaser Update to conduct scams, fraud, pyramid schemes or related offenses.
9. You will not attempt to conduct illegal intrusion or illegal hacking of Chaser Update including denial of service attacks.
10. If your account is disabled, you may not create another one without our permission. You may appeal bans in some cases. To appeal a ban, contact security@chaserupdate.com for more information.
11. You must be at least 13 years of age or older to use Chaser Update. If you are under 13 years of age, you are prohibited from using Chaser Update.
12. Child abusers, child offenders and sex offenders are not allowed to use Chaser Update.
13. You are responsible for your account security. Never share your password with anyone, not even staff members of Chaser Update.
14. We reserve the right to reclaim pages, usernames and accounts if a trademark or DMCA issue arises. Please ensure that you never conduct any form of copyright and/or trademark infringement on this website.
15. To report a DMCA/Copyright/Trademark Violation, please send an email to security@chaserupdate.com.
16. You are not to use the Chaser Update name, Chaser Update logos and images and Chaser Update content without official permission.

Mobile Terms

We supply a mobile feature on Chaser Update. Please note that texting/SMS charges may apply if you use these features. However, the main mobile version is free to anyone who wishes to use it. We cannot be held liable for any charges that have come from using our mobile features.

Purchase Terms

If you purchase something from a third-party member or entity on Chaser Update, the purchase is completely between you and that party. Chaser Update is not responsible for any activity from that purchase. If you purchase something from Chaser Update (premium membership, ads, etc.), there are no refunds. If you do a reverse payment through PayPal.com, we will ban you from being able to purchase anything on Chaser Update.

Third Party Application Terms

Third Party Applications are applications that others (not affiliated with Chaser Update) have made to connect with Chaser Update. Every member of Chaser Update has a right to choose whether or not they want to use a third party application. Third party applications must be made to require a member to manually accept it. Third party applications must abide by our terms and policies and must be suitable for an audience ages 13 and over. Third party application developers are responsible for their applications and must give any sort of support for them on their own without the assistance of Chaser Update. Third party application developers must keep their applications up to date and apply any security updates that are needed. Chaser Update has the right to delete, disable or refuse any third party applications at any time with or without a reason.

Account Termination

Chaser Update reserves the right to terminate your account or block features for violations of our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and other official policies we hold. To avoid an account termination or feature block, simply abide by this and other policies in which we hold.
